Transfer

Phi Theta Kappa honor roll logo

If you want to transfer, we'll make it easy for you.

Course Transfer
Courses with a C grade or higher are considered for individual transfer—75% of the total number of hours required for completion of a degree. For a B.S. or B.A., this is normally 90 credits. The University will evaluate and grant credit based on course equivalencies, including expected learning outcomes, with those of the University curriculum and standards.

Interested in transferring and/or receiving a personal credit evaluation? Complete this form and a counselor will get in touch with you.

Review our database to see how your credits will transfer.

We also have several agreements with other colleges that allow you to streamline and further enhance the transfer process. Review the agreements to see how they apply to your areas of interest.

If you are seeking to transfer from another Pitt campus, you will need to contact the Office of the Registrar at your campus and complete a relocation request. Each campus has its policies for relocation.

Transfer credit reviews are available upon request and are also a natural part of the admission process. We are here to help.

Transfer scholarships available
We offer transfer students merit scholarships with overall GPA’s starting at 2.5.
