Third-party organizations providing recruiting services for a fee must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Employer Disclosure: Inform Career Services of the specific employer(s) they represent and the positions for which they are recruiting. Career Services will verify this information.
- Transparency with Candidates: Disclose the name of the employer to any student or alumnus selected for an interview.
- Job Posting Language: Allow Career Services to include the following statement in the job description:
“Applicants, upon being selected for an interview, will be notified of the company name by the third-party recruiter.”
If concerns arise regarding a represented employer, Career Services may request contact information for that organization. This information will remain confidential and will not be published or shared publicly.
