Mandatory New Student Orientation in August
Including your move-in process, we have a full weekend of activities to help you acclimate to campus before your classes begin!
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes - you'll be participating in a full day of indoor and outdoor activities, which includes walking around campus.
Thursday, August 20 – Sunday, August 23, 2026
- New students move in Thursday, August 20!
- Review your email for additional information from the Residence Life & Housing Office. Make sure you submit your ID photo online a week prior to move-in.
- Friday Farewells – August 21, 2:00 PM- 2:45 PM
- We know goodbyes are hard. Parents are welcome to stay Thursday to help with the move-in process and attend our evening welcome activities. We encourage parents to depart after our Photos & Farewell Session on Friday, 2:00 PM-2:45 PM, so your student can start connecting with other new students and settling in before classes.
- August Orientation is full of fun activities for our new Panthers!
- Free food, free t-shirts, prize opportunities, fireworks, and more – we have lots of exciting activities planned for your first weekend, including additional opportunities to connect with other new students and learn more about resources and support we didn’t fully cover during Summer orientation.
