Period Access Project
The Period Access Project—a collaborative effort between the Office of Inclusion & Belonging and Student Health Services—is a pilot program providing free menstrual products (pads and tampons) in select bathrooms across Pitt-Bradford. Supported by the Panther Pantry, this initiative is designed to reduce barriers and promote equitable access to essential health resources for our students. All dispensers will be stocked and maintained on a rotating basis by our student and professional staff.
We are working to expand both awareness and availability. Here's how you can help!
- Spread the word to students about this resource and encourage them to share feedback or request dispenser restocking through the posted QR code signs in bathrooms.
- Support our donation drive to keep supplies stocked.
- We’ve created an Amazon Wishlist with the most requested products to make giving easy. When you purchase items from this list, they will be shipped directly to campus for immediate use in the dispensers.
- Prefer to donate in person? You may drop off items at:
- Office of Inclusion & Belonging (Frame-Westerberg Commons 144)
- Student Health Services (Frame-Westerberg Commons 228)
Here is a list of campus bathrooms where dispensers have been placed. Feel free to spread the word!
We welcome your questions, ideas, or if you’d like to get involved to help strengthen this initiative and ensure it meets the needs of our Pitt-Bradford community. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Office of Inclusion & Belonging or Student Health Services at the information provided below.
