Pitt-Bradford Arts offer entertaining and culturally diverse performances, exhibits, and presentations to our campus and regional community
Most events take place within
Blaisdell Hall, which is home for the arts on campus and also for the Division
of Communication and the Arts department. Pitt-Bradford is proud to have this state-of-the-art facility that also serves as the region’s center for the arts.
Prism is a performance series featuring professional touring groups and artists providing unique and diverse cultural experiences in all performing arts disciplines.
Spectrum features visual, literary and performing artists chosen by University arts faculty with an emphasis on academic and curriculum-based events and activities.
Kaleidoscope has expanded its programming from a school-time matinee series to a series that includes more evening performances for families, in-school programs and residencies, weekend workshops
for children and their families, and special arts events.
On Screen / In Person Film Series-This program brings independent American filmmakers to communities to screen their recent work and increase accessibility and appreciation
for film through direct audience engagement.
smART workshops Free community workshops that will engage students Pre-K to 4th grade, and their families in artistic learning through a variety of music, theater, literature and
visual arts workshops. This is a special project to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Kaleidoscope.
