Wireless Printing

Students can print from campus computer labs or directly from their personal devices to network-connected printers across campus. A printer in the Swarts Hall lobby is available 24/7.

• Each student receives a 900-page print quota per semester.

• Wireless printing is available through Pitt’s print portal and does not require a physical connection to the printer.

There’s no need to bring your own printer — campus printers are readily available and easy to use.

Please note: Wireless printers (like those designed for home use) cannot connect to the campus Wi-Fi network because of the required authentication protocols. We recommend leaving them at home to avoid setup issues. USB printers are supported.  Don't forget your cable!

Please note: You must have a print account BEFORE you can print wirelessly. To create a printing account, log into a computer in Swarts Hall 106 or Fisher Hall 110 and print something. Once you create this account, you can begin downloading new drivers to print wirelessly. Labs are in Fisher 110, Swarts 106, Hanley Library, and Duke Hall 220.
