Admissions events planned for year
Open houses, Saturday visits offer families a look at campus
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will hold three Saturday open houses this fall and winter that give students and their families a chance to meet faculty and staff, tour campus and talk with current students all in one afternoon.
Check-in for each open house begins at noon Oct. 3 and Oct. 24, 2026, and Feb. 20, 2027, on campus, with an informal forum where representatives from academic divisions, student affairs and athletics are available to answer questions until about 12:50 p.m. Formal presentations start at 1 p.m., and tours wrap up around 3:30 p.m. Visitors are welcome to stay for a meal in the dining hall as guests of the university.
“The best way to get the feel of a campus and see what it would be like to be a student there is to visit,” said Dr. James Baldwin, vice president of enrollment management. “These open houses and Saturday visits give prospective students and their families the chance to talk with faculty and current students and get their questions answered about everything from meal plans to how credits transfer.”
Saturday visits, which are shorter than open houses, include a small-group tour and time with an admissions counselor. They begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Harriett B. Wick Chapel and are scheduled for Sept. 12, Nov. 14 and Dec. 5, 2026, and Jan. 23, Feb. 13, March 27 and April 17, 2027.
Daily campus visits are also available most weekdays starting at 10 a.m. Registration is requested for all admissions events. To register or take a virtual tour, check out Visit Campus.
