PantherFest
PantherFest, September 13-14, 2024!
PantherFest weekend kicks off at noon on Friday, September 13 with the dedication of our new turf field stadium followed by a tailgate lunch and festivities. The dedication is free and open to the public. Help us celebrate a new era for Pitt-Bradford athletics!
Then, join us on Saturday, September 14 for a jam-packed day of fun and friendly competition including:
- 9 - 10:30 am Disc Golf Tournament (pre-registration required, register below)
- 10:30 am – Saturday admissions visit begins in the Mukaiyama University Room on campus. Visit upb.pitt.edu/visit-campus to register.
- 11 am Pitt-Bradford softball and baseball intrasquad games
- 11 am - 1 pm Interactive Pickleball learn and play session
- 11 am - 3 pm PantherFest Activities Zone, featuring a bounce house, face painting, games, and more
- Noon - 1 pm Meet and learn session with the Men's Lacrosse team
- 1 pm Family Fun 1K Run/Walk (pre-registration required, register below)
- 1:30 - 2:30 pm Home Run Derby at the softball field (pre-registration required, register below)
- 3 pm Women's Soccer vs. Thiel College
- 3:30 pm Pitt vs. West Virginia Backyard Brawl Game Watch at Rookies Sports Bar and Tasta Pizza & Taproom
- 6 pm Men's Soccer vs. Houghton College
And all day long we'll be featuring local food trucks from Campers Kettle Korn, CJ Bar-B-Que and Catering, The Good Place Food Trailer, and Pizza Napoli of Bradford and yard games, and from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. visit the PantherFest Activities Zone featuring face painting with the UPB Cheerleaders, a bounce house, mini-games hosted by Pitt-Bradford student-athletes, and more!
PantherFest is free and open to the public. Join us in celebrating Pitt-Bradford athletics!
Parking will be available on campus (Dorn House parking lots, Sport & Fitness Center lots, behind Hemingway House and next to the Chapel) marked in yellow on this map.
The ATA shuttle bus will provide transportation to the event area pickup locations (Campus Police, in front of Dorn House and the Sport & Fitness Center), marked in blue on this map.
All activities will be held at the Kessel Athletic Complex. In case of inclement weather on Saturday, activities will be moved to the Richard E. and Ruth McDowell Sport and Fitness Center, except for the soccer games.
