Short Bio

Before coming to Pitt-Bradford, Yaich served as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan, where she conducted independent research on Drosophila neural development. Prior to that, she taught at Vanderbilt University, where she earned her doctorate in molecular biology. Her dissertation was titled "Estrogen Receptor Expression in Human Breast Cancer."

Research, Accomplishments, and Publications

Dr. Yaich has several awards, including a National Science Foundation Developmental Neurobiology Fellowship, and a grant from the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Yaich has also received the Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Award. She serves as the chair of the Pre-Health Professions Committee at Pitt-Bradford.
