Short Bio

Laura has been teaching for 22 years, 15 of which are with the University of Pittsburgh. She believes that the learning process should encompass more than just conceptual learning. Application and synthesis of information is imperative to the learning process. 
Laura has a love for the outdoors, including camping, kayaking, landscaping and sports. She also has an affinity for animals, 2 dogs and 2 cats, all of which are treated as if they are family.
