Pre-Dental Hygiene

Pre-Dental Hygiene Program

This program is offered through Pitt-Bradford as a partner of the Education & Training Center at Pitt-Titusville (ETC). The prerequisite courses are set for the program and must be completed with the grading standards required by the School of Dental Medicine to determine acceptance into the Dental Hygiene program.

The prerequisite courses can be taken in person at Pitt-Bradford or at the ETC this academic year. To enroll in the prerequisite courses, students should complete the application. Once the Admissions staff has reviewed the application, they will contact students regarding their status and the next steps.

Dental Hygiene Program

Once accepted into the Pre-Dental Hygiene Program, students are eligible to apply to the Dental Hygiene Program. This program has limited capacity, and admission requires successful completion of academic course prerequisites, meeting the School of Dental Medicine admissions requirements, a successful personal interview, and space availability in the program. The enrollment process begins in the fall, with the program starting the following August.
