The echoes of industry and human’s presence are inscribed upon the landscape. This body of work explores these traces, along with the ecological and economic value we assign to altered environments. Using a variety of image making techniques including historical photographic processes, satellite imagery, and experimental printing. Flatland considers the profound impact of industrialized agriculture on our land and water.

Through these bodies of work, I seek to recognize and visualize the diversity of our impact. Because of these alterations we cannot return to a pre-human form of nature, and must instead reckon with the effects of our control. This exhibition runs until December 4, 2026.
