Pitt Regional Campus Tuition Pledge
If your household earns $75,000 or less, you could attend Pitt tuition-free — starting Fall 2026.
Do you qualify?
Pennsylvania resident: You must be a Pennsylvania resident — new students, transfer students, and currently enrolled students all qualify.
Household income of $75,000 or less: Your household's Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) must be $75,000 or less. Pitt covers whatever tuition remains after all federal, state, and institutional aid is applied.
Attending a regional campus: The pledge applies only to regional campuses such as Pitt-Bradford and Pitt-Titusville. Students who transfer to the Pittsburgh campus will leave the benefit behind.
How it works
- Apply to Pitt-Bradford
- File your FAFSA — Use school code 008815 for any University of Pittsburgh campus.
- No extra application — There's no separate pledge application; eligibility is determined automatically.
- Benefit applied — If you qualify, the pledge is applied to your account after all other aid is counted.
What's covered?
The pledge covers tuition only. Other costs — textbooks, housing, meals, and fees — are not included.
