List of Health Services

    1. Primary assessment and treatment of health problems and injuries by a registered nurse.

    2. Simple diagnostic screenings: chemstrip urinalysis, and urine pregnancy test.

    3. First aid supplies and services, including ice packs, elastic bandages, crutches.

    4. Physician services: Medical clinic on campus every two to three weeks during Fall and Spring Terms. Appointments with the college physician are scheduled in advance by the nurse. The nurse has telephone consultation privileges with the college physician on a daily (M-F) basis.

    5. Referrals to community agencies and services:
      * Note: When students are referred to physicians, agencies, or services off campus, they must assume responsibility for the cost of those services.

    6. Health educational programs, internet health information resources and literature on a variety of health related topics.

    7. Health Counseling, including health problem counseling, wellness counseling, and personal problem counseling. Referrals to a clinical psychologist on campus are available, as well as referrals to the local Guidance Center.

    8. Self-Care Center for colds,cuts, and upset stomach in Room 229 in the Commons; Open when ever the building is open.

    9. Blood Pressure Monitoring and Counseling
    10. Health Fair in the Mukaiyama University. Room every spring with over 25 different vendors.
    11. Free counseling to quit Tobacco for students. Counselors are certified by the American Lung Association.
