Position Title: Adjunct Instructor

Position Status:  Part-time

Tenure Status:  Non-Tenure Stream, Term-to-term

Qualifications and Requirements:

Master’s or higher degree in an appropriate field, as well as relevant teaching experience. A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience may be sufficient for selected technical or professional fields.

Position Information:

Teaching opportunities for part-time instructors are anticipated on an as-needed, term-by-term basis in the following areas. Areas with urgent or immediate needs are asterisked (*)

 Anthropology (physical) 
 Archaeology
 Athletic Training
 Biology*
 Chemistry* 
 Criminal Justice
 English Composition
 Environmental Studies/Conservation Mgmt 
 Geography*
 German
 GIS
 Japanese
 Mathematics
 Nursing (adult Med-Surg, Maternity, Peds)*
 Petroleum Technology*
 Sports Medicine

Responsibilities:

Will vary with position, but generally involve teaching 1-2 sections per term, as needed.
