Short Bio:

A native of nearby Warren, PA, Rick Nelson has been at Pitt-Bradford since 1985. Before Pitt-Bradford, he had taught at Central Connecticut State University and for the graduate program at the University of New Haven. He is a chartered financial analyst and has extensive professional experience in business and finance, most recently working in investment research at Citicorp in New York.

Professor Nelson has opinions on almost any topic. His output of opinions is often determined by the level of caffeine he has consumed. Nelson runs about five miles three times a week to offset the caffeine.

Research, Accomplishments, and Publications:
Although he has been published in the New York Times, Professor Nelson is also proud of "Come On, Tiger, Let's Pop the Clutch," a humorous piece about investment sales, featured in the August 1991 issue of Gentleman's Quarterly.
