Before coming to Pitt-Bradford, Professor Rouff was a fitness center director and physical education instructor at Alfred (N.Y.) State College. He also was a certified personal trainer at Knowlton's Personal Fitness in Bradford, where he developed exercise and nutrition programs for clients.
Professor Rouff earned a doctorate in sports management from the U.S. Sports Academy in Daphne, Ala. He earned his master's degree in leadership studies emphasizing sport administration from Duquesne University and his bachelor's degree in sports medicine from Pitt-Bradford.
Professor Rouff is an avid softball player and lives in Bradford with his wife, Tammi, a son Kellen, and his stepdaughter, Danielle.
