Course Title: APPLIED PROBABILITY AND STATISTICS
Course Description:
This course covers random events and probability spaces; conditional probability; random variables, distribution of random variables, and parameters of distributions; and central limit theorem. Populations, samples and statistical inference, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis are also covered. There is some work with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) computer package.
