Course Description:
In this course, the student
explores and reframes previously learned knowledge issues and concepts
that influence professional practice and the delivery of nursing care. Course content is focused on the
context of professional nursing; the theoretical basis of nursing practice; and
dimensions of professional nursing practice. Professional nurse roles and professional nursing practice
are examined in relation to evolving health care delivery systems.
