Course Title:  PHYSICAL GEOLOGY

Course Description:

An introductory course designed to familiarize students with the physical environment. Topics include: rocks and minerals, interior Earth, plate tectonics, oceans and the hydrosphere, landforms and the physical processes that produce them, and geologic resources. Laboratories cover rock and mineral identifications and map and air photo interpretation of landforms. Three hours of lecture and three hours of lab per week.
