Youth acrylic painting class planned for June 23

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will hold an acrylic paint fun youth camp from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 23.

The program will take place in art room 406 of Marilyn Horne Hall at 2 Marilyn Horne Way in Bradford. The cost is $45 per child and includes materials. The class is for children age 10 to 15.

Attendees will learn the basics of acrylic painting, including the color, blending and proper usage of brushes. The step-by-step process will lead to a completed painting suitable for framing.
