---Veterans and their families are invited to attend a FREE one-stop shop to learn about VA services and a variety of community resources available during the McKean County Community Veteran Engagement Board’s Veteran Resource & Job Fair coming up Thursday, November 16 from 5:30pm-8:30pm at the University of Pittsburgh Bradford, Old Field House, 300 Campus Drive in Bradford. 
---A brief welcome and public forum will begin at 6pm led by the McKean County Community Veteran Engagement Board to highlight several key services available on-site.  
---During the Veterans Resource & Job Fair, community agencies, health experts and members of the Erie VA Medical Center (VAMC) leadership team will be on-site to answer questions, provide information, and to meet with Veterans face-to-face.  Veterans and their families will be able to meet with:

Erie VA Medical Center (VAMC) & McKean VA Clinic health experts – will provide FREE blood pressure screenings and flu shots for Veterans eligible for VA servicesErie VA Eligibility & Enrollment representativesErie VAMC Behavioral Health Clinic staff – to provide information about mental health servicesErie VAMC Women Veterans Program staffVeterans Benefits Administration (VBA) representatives – to answer questions about benefits and/or claimsUniversity of Pittsburgh at Bradford will have representatives on site from the Admissions Office to discuss Educational Opportunities at Pitt-Bradford and the use of GI-Bill / Veteran’s BenefitsVet Center – to provide information about readjustment counseling available to combat VetsMcKean County & Community Veteran Service Officers – to assist Veterans in filing claimsPA CareerLink – to support Veteran job seekers and family members who are looking for employmentJob Fair Vendors – local business and State Government representatives will showcase their businesses and current career opportunities

---Veterans who have never enrolled in VA healthcare are encouraged to bring a copy of their DD-214 service discharge papers and speak with an eligibility representative right on-site to see if you are eligible for VA services.  Veterans interested in speaking to a VBA representative or a county service officer about filing a claim should also bring a copy of their DD-214.
