There will be a Health Careers Job Fair Feb. 7 on campus.
Representatives of more than a dozen organizations will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Mukaiyama Room in the Frame-Westerberg Commons. The fair is open to the public. Attendees should bring copies of their resume and dress in business attire.
Attendees can learn about summer, part time and full-time employment, as well as internship and volunteer opportunities from area hospitals, medical centers, nursing homes, mental health, rehabilitation and social service organizations.
Agencies expected to participate are Abraxas Youth and Family Services, Bradford Ecumenical Home, Bradford Manor, Bradford Regional Medical Center, Pavilion at BRMC, Evergreen Elm Inc., The Guidance Center, Journey Health System/Beacon Light Behavioral Health Systems, Olean (New York) General Hospital, Peace Corps,
Penn Highlands Healthcare, Phoenix Rehabilitation and Health Services Inc., State Correctional Institution - Forest Department of Corrections, Sena Kean Manor, U.S. Army Healthcare, and Warren General Hospital.
The fair is sponsored by the Office of Career Services, department of nursing, Student Nurse Organization and the Student Health and Rehabilitation Science Association. This is the 13th year Pitt-Bradford has held a career fair specifically for health professions.
