The HOSP Club will be providing a complimentary lunch, and students from the Service and Leadership class will be taking product donations and asking visitors to help assemble hygiene kits to be shared with Destinations Bradford and the YWCA.

In addition to the local drive, hospitality management students are also working with local hotels to support Clean the World, a nonprofit charity that collects soap and shampoo from hotels and other sources to be recycled and distributed to homeless shelters in the United States and others in need around the world.

The World Health Organization says that one-third of the diseases that kill children under the age of 5could be prevented by simple hand washing with bar soap.
