The Pitt-Bradford men’s and women’s basketball teams
recently wrapped up the 2013-14 slate by competing in the Allegheny Mountain
Collegiate Conference’s semi-final round.
On Tuesday, the AMCC released its annual all-conference
selections via the conference website. Senior Brandon McClester and junior
Keith Burgess each were named to the All-AMCC third team. For the women, junior
Alicia Kimmel was selected to the All-AMCC second team.
McClester, the lone senior on the men’s squad, finished the
year averaging 13 points per game with a total of 350 points scored. That
number was good for second on the team. He registered a team-high 50 steals and
13 blocks in 699 minutes on the court. He was a 75 percent free-throw shooter
and tallied 135 rebounds for the year.
Burgess, a 2012-13 All-AMCC second team selection, led the
Panthers in scoring this year with 14 points per game. Burgess had a team-high
378 points, finishing the season with a career total of 989 points. Burgess
clocked in 718 minutes on the floor, good for second on the squad.
Kimmel finished her junior campaign as the lone Panther
averaging double figures in scoring with 14.1 points per game. Her total of 381
points for the year were a team-high, and she heads into her senior season with
a career total of 991 points. She also led the squad with 189 total rebounds,
averaging seven per contest, and clocked in a team-high 872 minutes on the

the upcoming 2014-15 slates.
