The Pitt-Bradford softball program is hosting its 2014
Pitching/Catching Clinic on Sunday, March 2, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The
camp will be open to all students currently in grades four through 12.
The clinic will cover the fundamentals of pitching and
catching. It will also include pitch development.
Registration will take place at the Richard E. and Ruth
McDowell Sport and Fitness Center starting a half hour prior to the session.
The session will be held inside the field house.
The clinic will be staffed by University of Pittsburgh at
Bradford Head Coach Tina Phillips, assistant coach Jeff Kuleck and the 2014
Panthers. The Panthers have won four of the last eight Allegheny Mountain
Collegiate Conference titles. They have made three trips to the NCAA Division
III Tournament and two trips to the Eastern College Athletic Conference
The cost of the clinic is $30. Checks are asked to be made
payable to the University of Pittsburgh. All campers are asked to bring their
own glove. Catchers may bring their own gear, if not, the gear will be
supplied. No cleats please.
