McMillen tabbed first team All-AMCC

Taylor McMillen

Pitt-Bradford middle hitter Taylor McMillen has been named to the All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s first team as announced by the league office. McMillen played and started in all 31 matches, totaling 123 sets, this season.

McMillen, a 2012 All-AMCC second team selection, guided the Panthers to the AMCC Finals against Penn State Behrend. Pitt-Bradford, the number six seed, defeated the number three and two seeds en route to playing for the conference title.

McMillen led the Panthers for the year with a total of 389 kills. Her 3.16 kills per set and .280 hitting percentage were also good for best on the squad. For the conference tournament, McMillen finished with 39 kills, 4 assists and 15 digs.

The Panthers do not lose a single player to eligibility and look to retain the majority of their 2013 roster.
