Cross Country completes afternoon at AMCC’s

The Pitt-Bradford men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Championships on Saturday.

Olivia Schrock paced the Panthers with a finish time of 28:27 and placed 40th out of 84 runners. The only other Panther to cross the finish line was Lukasiewics-o’brien, who crossed the line at the 33:20 mark.

The men’s team finished ninth out of 10 teams competing. Angel Achar led the way for Pitt-Bradford with a time of 32:26 and in 47th place. Next was Jeff Elwell, who ran a time of 32:45 and crossed just one place behind Achar in 48th. Josh Sourbeer worked his way to a 55th place finish with a time of 35:19.

Rounding out the Panthers times were Matthew Sompel, with a time of 39:12, and Chris Pastore at the 45:04 mark.

The conclusion of the Championships also concludes the fall slate for the men’s and women’s cross country teams. The Panthers will enter the offseason before gearing up for next season’s schedule.
