Panthers fall to Brockport and St. John Fisher on the road Saturday

The Pitt-Bradford volleyball team dropped a pair of matches Saturday to Brockport and St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY.

Brockport defeated the Panthers 3-1 in the opening match.  Pitt-Bradford took the first set 25-18 before being defeated 11-25, 18-25 and 23-25 to close out game one.  Kimberly Daughtery recorded nine kills during the match. 

In game two, St. John Fisher claimed the first two sets 25-14 and 25-17 before the Panthers took the third set 28-26.  In the fourth set, the Cardinals won 26-16 to end game two.  Taylor McMillen registered 14 kills during the match, and Brittany Watts was closed behind with 11. 

The Panthers will travel to Meadville, Pa., September 25 for a 7 p.m. match against Allegheny.
