Panthers place fifth at Penn State Altoona Invitational

The Pitt-Bradford men's golf team placed fifth at the Penn State Altoona Invitational Monday with a team score of 322.

The Panthers were led by the duo of Andrew Bird and Christian Holzwarth. Bird fired a 77 to finish in a tie for third and Holzwarth carded a 79 to tie for 12th.

In other results, Zach Tarbell shot an 81, Alex Hunter had an 85 and Zach Spicer finished with a round of 95.

Penn State Behrend won the team title with a score of 312. Grove City, Allegheny (Md.) and Penn State Altoona rounded out the top four.

Pitt-Bradford will return to action Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Medaille Invitational.
