The Pitt-Bradford volleyball team split a pair of matches Saturday, falling in four sets to Elmira before sweeping Brockport.
Elmira defeated the Panthers 25-17, 25-13, 23-25, 25-16. It was the Soaring Eagles second straight win over Pitt-Bradford. Taylor McMillen led the team with 10 kills and Brittni Cumberland added seven. Cumberland totaled 22 assists and Peyton Kauffman had 11. Defensively, Kelsey Repke finished with 12 digs.
The Panthers wrapped up the day sweeping Brockport 25-17, 25-17, 25-17. Pitt-Bradford hit .349 as a team and Brockport committed 19 attack errors to the Panthers' three.
McMillen had a team-high six kills and Kimberly Daughtery added five. Cumberland tallied 12 assists and Kauffman had 10. Jennifer Johnson converted five service aces and Daughtery and Jenessa Ceprish had three apiece.
Repke had a team-best 17 digs and Cumberland finished with 10 to complete the double-double. Cumberland, Daughtery and Kaitlin McCann recorded two blocks apiece.
Pitt-Bradford moves to 2-5 and will compete in the Neumann Knights Invitational next weekend.
