Patrick Daniel, head women's basketball coach at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, will be hosting a College Prospect Camp Aug. 9-11 at the Richard E. and Ruth McDowell Sport and Fitness Center.
The camp will provide skill development for all positions and information related to the Pitt-Bradford women's basketball program. Campers will also learn about the university's admission process, tour campus housing and facilities, and take part in a Q&A with Coach Daniel and current players.
The cost of the camp is $160, and checks should be made payable to the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. To reserve a spot, campers must submit an $80 deposit by July 31. Registration will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, and the camp will conclude Sunday, Aug. 11, at 3 p.m. All campers must fill out the medical wavier/insurance form prior to the start of camp.
In his first year with the Panthers, Daniel guided the women to 15 wins and the program's fourth straight appearance in the AMCC tournament while earning AMCC co-Coach of the Year honors. The 15 wins were tied for third most all-time in program history.
The women were originally picked to finish sixth in the league's preseason coaches' poll, but set a school record with 13 conference wins to finish in a tie for third. Two players were named to the all-conference team.
Prior to joining Pitt-Bradford, Daniel was an assistant coach at Kenyon College (2011-12) and Saint Mary's College (2008-11).
