Baseball prepares to close out AMCC slate

Complete game notes

Pitt-Bradford looks to secure its spot in the AMCC postseason tournament when it hosts Penn State Altoona Saturday.

The Panthers have scuffled of late, going 1-3 in their last four games, and are fifth in the conference standings. With four games remaining in conference play, they do have a chance to possibly bump up to fourth.

For the Panthers to make that jump in the standings, they must quickly figure out how to win close games. Since sweeping Medaille in their AMCC opener, they are 1-4 in one-run games, including a pair of losses last week to La Roche and Mount Aloysius.

Pitt-Bradford closes out AMCC play Monday at D’Youville and hosts Juniata the following day.
