Softball looks to remain hot in AMCC play

Pitt-Bradford looks to continue its hot start to conference play when it entertains D’Youville Wednesday afternoon.

The Spartans will be the first of three AMCC matchups for the Panthers this week. Pitt-Bradford opened league play last Thursday with a thrilling sweep of defending champion Penn State Behrend, and through six conference games is 5-1.

The Panthers travel to Medaille Thursday for a makeup series and play at Pitt-Greensburg Saturday.

The women have a chance to strengthen their spot in the standings. The Spartans were picked to finish third in the preseason coaches poll and Greensburg currently leads all teams with an AMCC mark of 6-2.
