The Pitt-Bradford men's tennis team defeated Keuka 8-1 early Wednesday evening for its first win of the season. It was the Panthers' first match in nearly a month.
Keuka's only point came in doubles as Pitt-Bradford swept all six singles matches. In doubles action, the No. 2 team of Allan Miller and Dylan Nuzzo won 8-0, and the No. 3 team of Ryan Meyer and Josh Ellson also won 8-0.
Miller dropped his first set in singles play, but rallied to win 2-6, 6-0, 10-5. Travis Scida and Meyer both won 6-0, 6-0, and Nuzzo and Ellson won their matches by identical 6-0, 6-1 scores. Ian Vaughan was victorious 6-4, 6-0.
Pitt-Bradford improves to 1-1 on the year and opens AMCC play Friday at Penn State Altoona.
