Pitt-Bradford's Jeff Cattoni and Melinda Mackenzie were named the AMCC's men's and women's Swimmers of the Week Monday.
Cattoni, a freshman from Bradford, won the 100 breast in a time of 1:04 against Penn State Behrend on Saturday and swam a 24.84 split on the winning 400 free relay team. He also finished third in the 200 breast and swam the second leg on the 400 medley relay squad that took third.
Mackenzie, a senior from Somerset, Pa., overcame the flu to finish first in both the 500 and 1,000 free against Behrend. She swam a 29.87 split on the winning 400 free relay team and also finished third in the 100 free.
It marked the second time in her career that Mackenzie received the conference's weekly honor.
