College orientation can be a little unnerving, particularly if you've never gone through it before. So, we've made it easy.
Beginnings is our annual orientation program that we hold in July for incoming students and their parents and family members. The purpose of the program is to give you a better understanding of who we are and what you -- and your son or daughter can expect -- in the fall.
We've created a schedule just for you. During the two-day program, you can take part in discussions about:
- academic programs
- student services
- financial aid
- campus life
You will also have the opportunity to tour the campus if you'd like.
During the program, meals and housing for your son or daughter are included. You and any other family member who comes with you will be treated to a complimentary lunch on day 1. On day 2, you will be treated to breakfast and lunch. And, when you arrive on campus, you will receive a list of area restaurants, which will give you a selection of places to eat the evening of day 1. To make your trip to Bradford as easy and enjoyable as possible, you may want to consider making reservations in one of the area motels and reviewing the directions to campus.
All of the costs associated with Beginnings are covered under the $90 orientation fee, which is billed to students on their Fall Term invoices.
You can find out what's happening on campus right now by signing up to receive our bi-monthly email news letter, eConnections.

"I was really impressed by all the attention, help and services you provided. My daughter, Roksolana Mykhlyk, was very nervous and uneasy when she arrived, but the minute she was separated from me, she felt as home. There was a free room for my daughter to stay overnight. Her brother, who was waiting for her, got to play pool. All the counselors were nice and very helpful. The food was delicious, a lot of choices. We had a very nice time, and we are hoping for a good, productive year for my daughters. I am telling all my friends, neighbors and co-workers what a beautiful university Pitt-Bradford is." -- Galyna Mykhlyk
