Proctors are hired to conduct the Student Evaluation of Teaching Surveys that take place every semester. The proctor is responsible for administering the survey at the scheduled time in the designated location, writing the course information on the board, reading the instructions, and passing out the forms and pencils. When the survey is complete, the proctor is responsible for collecting all the forms and pencils and returning them to the ASC in the provided envelope.
Eligibility and Pay Rate:
Proctors must be Federal Work Study eligible and are paid minimum wage.
Proctors are hired for a three week period each semester. Depending upon their individual schedules and availability, they may work a total of 24 hours or a maximum of 46 surveys. There is one paid hour of mandatory training.
Proctors are minimum sophomore status and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above. The applicant must be conscientious and reliable and able to adhere to a strict time schedule in conducting the surveys.
