Course Title: STATISTICS: PSYCHOLOGY
Course Description:
A survey of the statistical procedures used in psychology and other behavioral sciences, including frequency distributions, percentile ranks, graphing, measures of central tendency, measures of variability, standard scores and the normal distribution, sampling techniques and sampling distribution theory, hypothesis testing, the z-test, the t-tests, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and correlations and prediction. The labs focus on learning how to use SPSS for all of the statistical procedures presented in the lectures.
