Pitt-Bradford will present a grant workshop webinar from the state Department of
Conservation and Natural Resources.
The free webinar can be seen from
10:30 a.m. to noon March 13 in Room 200 of the Seneca Building at 2 Main
Street, Bradford.
The workshop will prepare applicants
to meet the requirements of Community Conservation Partnerships Programs for
sustainable and green parks projects, trails, land conservation, emerging
recreation trends and more. The workshop will assist community leaders,
consultants, board members and park and recreation professionals interested in
learning about resources available to plan, acquire and construct public
recreation and conservation areas in their communities.
The deadline for grant applications
is April 10. Those attending the workshop will learn about DCNR’s emphasis on
greening, learn about changes to the 2013 grant program and gain a better
understanding of how to develop a competitive and ready-to-go project.
