The fifth annual “Beyond Funny” improvisational comedy show by the Pitt Improvers will raise money to
benefit the Bradford Rotary Club and the Tuna Valley Trail Association.
The
family-friendly show will take place at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 8 in the Bromeley Family
Theater in Blaisdell Hall at Pitt-Bradford. Adult tickets are $5, and students
and children are free. Tickets will be available at the door.
Performers
in the student improv troupe will create scenes on the spot based on
suggestions from the audience.
“Experiencing
the unexpected is what makes improv so funny. You never know what is going to
happen,” said Kristin Asinger, club advisor and visiting instructor of sports
medicine. “This is a show for all ages, and the children seem to be a favorite.
They have such creative imaginations that when they volunteer to be on stage,
the audience ends up in nonstop laughter.”
