Our Student Activities Council is our primary programming organization. The members of this group are responsible for planning and implementing a diverse schedule of activities -- from concerts to game shows to comedians.
Some of SAC's most popular events are Alumni & Family Weekend, Pitt-Sync Battle, the Cedar Point trip, and the Winter Week activities.
SAC also has regularly subsidized off-campus programs such as tickets to Pitt football games, culturally diverse metropolitan areas, and professional sporting games.
SAC is made up of all students who are interested in having a voice in what events and activities are being planned for campus entertainment. There is no election process to get involved. You only need to show up for weekly meetings and sponsored events.
There are 9 committees on SAC:
PUBLICITY - Provides promotion and advertising for SAC events, SAC meetings, and creates the calendars that are made available to all students for the semester’s events.
