Parking On Campus

Students

Students who have vehicles on campus are required to register their vehicle and obtain a parking permit at the beginning of each academic Fall Term with Campus Police.  Students bringing a vehicle to campus for Spring Term will register their vehicles at the beginning of that term.  Below are the fees for student parking permits.  These are annual fees, with all parking permits expiring in August.  Fees are not prorated for single academic terms.

You can register your vehicle with Campus Police beginning Monday, Aug. 25. The office will be open from 8 a.m. until noon and 1 to 5 p.m. weekdays.

All first-time, full-time freshmen must park in the lot in the Sport and Fitness Center between midnight Sunday to 5 p.m. Friday. All freshmen will have special parking tags that will identify where they can park. We expect this to be a temporary situation and should only be in effect for the early part of the Fall 2009 Term. We will make an official announcement when the situation changes.

  • Resident Students    $60.00
  • Commuter Students  $50.00
  • Additional Vehicle     $ 5.00 per vehicle
  • Student Temporary   $ 2.00 per day

Guests and Visitors

No fee is assessed for a temporary guest parking permit, which is obtained at the Campus Police Office.  A temporary parking permit is valid for a period not to exceed seven consecutive calendar days.

A temporary guest parking permit is not necessary for day visitors using the "Visitors Only" lot also designated as Lot #2.

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and Staff who have vehicles on campus are required to register their vehicle and obtain a parking permit at the beginning of the Fall Term with Campus Police.  The annual fee for a faculty/staff parking permit is $50.00.

** Note - Faculty, staff and students are not permitted to park in any "Visitor Only" parking lots.  In addition, no parking is permitted in lot #4 (commons parking lot) or lot #7 (behind Campus Police Office) between the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  on any day of the year.
