University of Pittsburgh BradfordAdmissions
Orientation

As a new full-time student, you'll attend a two-day pre-orientation session in July called Beginnings . At that time, you'll work with a faculty advisor and finalize your academic schedules. You'll participate in group discussions about college life.

However, it won't be all work and no play. We have many social events planned for you, too.

In May, we'll send you a letter giving you the date of the orientation session you will be attending.

Then, just prior to the fall term, you'll take part in an extended three-day orientation called Movin' On. This session will help you successfully make the transition to college and will give you the chance to meet other members of the incoming class.

If you're a new transfer or nontraditional student we have a couple of one-day orientation sessions to help you finalize your academic schedule and get familiar with campus.  The first one will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013. Check-in at Frame-Westerberg Commons Lobby from 10:30am to 12 Noon, and the second will held in July.

Also if you are a current Pitt-Bradford student who was in the pre-ASN program this past year and have now been admitted into the ASN nursing program you will receive Department of Nursing orientation and register for your fall term classes on Thursday,June 20, 2013. Check-in at Frame-Westerberg Commons Lobby 2:00 - 2:30pm.
