• As a new full-time student, you'll attend a two-day pre-orientation session in July called Beginnings . At that time, you'll work with a faculty advisor and finalize your academic schedules. You'll participate in group discussions about college life.

However, it won't be all work and no play. We have many social events planned for you, too.

In May, we'll send you a letter giving you the date of the orientation session you will be attending.

Then, just prior to the fall term, you'll take part in an extended three-day orientation called Movin' On. This session will help you successfully make the transition to college and will give you the chance to meet other members of the incoming class.

If you're a new transfer or nontraditional student we have a couple of one-day orientation sessions to help you finalize your academic schedule and get familiar with campus.

If you have questions or need additional information, call us at 1-800-872-1787 or e-mail admissions@list.pitt.edu.
