Program Description:
Our program is a satellite of the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work. It is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), and meets state licensure requirements. The program provides interested students in this region the opportunity to earn a graduate degree in social work on a part-time, structured basis. The program functions with cohort-style admissions, with the potential for a new cohort to start every two years.
Students accepted into the program earn the 60 credit MSW in 3 ½ years, completing 6 credits a semester for 10 consecutive semesters. Students with a BSW may be eligible for advanced standing, completing the degree in 8 semesters. The program is geared toward working professionals, with classes in the evenings.
