What was your favorite class at Pitt-Bradford? Why?

I had two favorite classes-my communication capstone because of the one on one interaction with Jeff Guterman and the assignments prepared me for the future.  My other favorite class was Terrorism since 9/11.  Dr. Tony Gaskew is an excellent professor and the material taught helped me become a well rounded and well educated individual in today's society.

Who most influenced you while you were at Pitt-Bradford? Why?

Jeff Guterman from the very beginning has influenced me the most.  He does so much work for his students.  Everything from talking to him when times got hard and he really understood educating me about the broadcasting world including in the control room and studio situations.  After graduating, I would brag of my excellent education and other in my same field would agree that Jeff Guterman's appraach was above expectations.

What is your fondest memory from your years at Pitt-Bradford?

Being one of the winners of the Vira Heinz Scholarship for the summer of 2006.  Having gone abroad has helped me become the person I am today.  I will always be thankful of for the Vira Heinz Foundation which not only allowed me to follow my dreams but also share my life changing experiences with other students.

What was the most surprising thing you learned about yourself at Pitt-Bradford?

The most surprising thing I've learned was being abroad.  I accomplished so much from being in London.  I was submerged into their culture, learned about their history and grew as an individual.

What advice do you have for prospective students who may be considering Pitt-Bradford?

Pitt at Bradford is a place whre you can be who you want to be.  Stand out and get involved.  Do whatever it is that you want to do, because I'm 100% positive that someone will support you.

What was the best part about attending Pitt-Bradford?

Not only did I meet some amazing people, but my education was top notch.  The best part was being so close with the professors.
