Business Capstone: Strategic Management - I really liked the simulation game that allowed each of us to run a business.  It brought together all concepts of the business world.

Professor Betsy Matz had the most influence on me while at Pitt Bradford.  She was a mentor as well as a friend.

A specific fond memory:  I volunteered with the VITA/TCE (Voluntary Income Tax Assistance & Tax Counseling For the Elderly). I really enjoyed the appreciation from the community for our work.  It makes your time all worth it.

General fond memories:  General memories that will never be forgotten with some of the friends and professors that I met and continue to keep in contact with.  

I learned that I was able to handle a lot of responsibility.  I also learned that it is okay to try new things and not to settle for something that is easy and comfortable.  Going out of your comfort zone is inevitable to succession.

There are many opportunities at Pitt Bradford for you to set yourself apart from everyone else.  Take advantage of any opportunities in terms of internships, volunteer work, and academic clubs (such as Students in Free Enterprise!). Also, networking is very important to your career; Pitt Bradford makes it easy for students to build professional relationships with local business professionals who could help facilitate your career.
