TEACHING ELEMENTARY SCIENCE

This elementary methods course will focus on concrete and abstract methods used in teaching and evaluating pupil achievement in the fundamental concepts of science.  Topics will include the integration of technology, children’s literature, cross-curricular strategies, differentiated instruction, cooperative learning, and the use of inquiry learning. This course includes a field component.
