Course Title: TRANSLATION SEMINAR
Course Description:
This course offers students a firsthand understanding of the general principles of translation and of the particular issues involved in translating from Spanish to English. The class will gain practice, through a variety of texts, in rendering accurate, stylistically acceptable translations into English and will discuss the influence of culture upon language as this applies to translation.
