INTRODUCTION TO CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY

This course is basic to an understanding of anthropology and covers an analysis of the concept of culture; a brief overview of the evolution of culture and of anthropological theory and methodology; the importance of human language; and a systematic survey of technology, economics, political and social organization, religion, and art in human societies.
